Webinars and CE Opportunities for Cancer Registrars

Cancer Registrar interacting with MRA education and webinars on their laptop

According to the NCRA, “CTRs must complete a minimum of 20 hours of CEs to maintain a certified status. The required 20 CEs keep CTRs current on new developments in the field of oncology and registry data management.” Submit CEs (ncra-usa.org)

Staying abreast of all the new and updated information in the field of cancer registry can be daunting, but it is a must for every cancer registrar who abstracts. Finding the time to obtain these continuing education credits is not always easy, but neither is finding the newest and latest webinars, state meetings, or educational forums to help obtain the credits. In January 2023, we discussed the importance of continuing education for cancer registrars. In this blog we have provided a list of current and upcoming webinars and events that are available to cancer registrars to help receive their CE’s.
