As one of MRA’s new recruiting specialists, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share some information about my experience in the HIM profession.
With 15 years of recruiting experience, I’m thrilled to be a part of MRA’s team. It’s a pleasure to recruit for HIM positions. HIM professionals are very enthusiastic about the work they perform. HIM is a profession that allows individuals to make a significant impact on the quality of healthcare in this country. It’s a noble field, and it’s one that is evolving constantly, presenting many opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Prior to joining MRA, I had taken a year off to spend some much-needed time with my family. I approached re-entry into the workforce with caution and knew I wanted to find the right fit in terms of an employer. I was looking for a company that would respect me as an individual and appreciate all that I had to offer. MRA ended up being exactly what I needed. MRA’s team answered all of my questions in a timely manner and provided unparalleled communication. I now know that MRA offers this same level of respect to all of its employees as well as the clients it serves. Communication and collaboration are the cornerstones on which this business is built. MRA fosters the growth of its employees and also extends that same philosophy to its clients.
As an HIM talent acquisition specialist, I’m seeking the best and brightest candidates, and I do my best to let candidates know what they can expect during each step of the hiring process. I also make myself available to answer any questions that candidates may have. Candidates need to have as much information as possible to make informed decisions about their employment. I have been in their shoes, and I understand their concerns. My job is to provide as much input and feedback as possible.
Currently, coder recruitment is one of my top priorities. Coding is an in-demand profession that provides many opportunities for advancement into other areas of HIM. It’s also a profession that is increasingly remote, allowing coders to work from home.
